Grant County's Landes Arts Center
Dedication Slated for September 13
On June 20, 2007, the Grant County Public Library broke ground for a performing arts center on Mt. View Street in Petersburg, WV. GCAC is proud of our involvement in bringing this project to fruition. We are even more proud of the community effort it has taken to fund and construct this facility.
The Eugene K. Harr Auditorium was dedicated July 3, 2008 [Article about Eugene and Debra Harr's involvement with the auditorium construction].
The formal dedication celebration for the entire Center is slated for Saturday, September 13, 2008, from noon until 3 p.m.. There will be entertainment, refreshments, and tours of the facility. Watch for details in the Grant County Press.
The Grant County Library is still accepting donations to furnish the Center's interior. Inquiries may be addressed to Grant County Library PAC, 24 Mt. View St., Petersburg, WV 26847.
